Jayne Collection

The Founders of the Museum were Timothy Jayne and Ruth D. Jayne Timothy Jayne was the Great Great-grandson of Rev. William Henry Furness, on his father’s side. His mother, Henrietta Bache, was the fourth great-granddaughter of Benjamin Franklin. From these family connections a collection of wonderful European, Asian and Amercan drawings, watercolors, and prints were acquired, and used as a source of study today.
